This kid sure is cute

Hunter just turned 4 weeks old on Tuesday. He hasn't changed much since Day 1 but I have noticed that he is gaining weight. We're hoping he turns into a real chunk!

We had the blessing of having Andrea's Mom and Dad come and help out for several days. They were more than helpful and made the transition into parenthood quite smooth.

He loved hanging out with Grandpa.

He also loved hanging with "big" Uncle Tyler. Every time we see Tyler, his muscles get just a little big bigger. It's amazing.

Mom flew to Utah the day we got home from the hospital. She too was an angel, and didn't get any sleep. Thanks again Mom.

I don't know if this is normal with newborns, but Hunter has been able to lift up his head since the first week. When did your kids begin balancing their noggens? Seems quite young to be doing that.

It can be tiring holding up the head sometimes though. Here he is tuckered out as Dad stuffs his face with Caramel Praline...

...and again. He seems to like that position.

We received this incredibly thoughtful gift from one of our good friends. It's a night light with a custom-made light cover that says, "Hunter sleep tight." I wish I could post pics of all the generous gifts we received from friends and family because they were all so meaningful and helpful to our small family.

Mommy and baby. By the way, I'm loving Andrea's new style.

So Andrea discovered something that is 100% effective in quieting down Hunter. We call it the "Buzz Treatment." Whenever he's going ballistic, or even just whining a little, we make a buzzing noise close to his face and instantly he goes quite. It's hilarious--and quite handy.

Holding up his head again...

He sure is cute, isn't he?

We've been MIA since August (if you look at our last post) I'll do a quick run down of a few highlights. Don't expect to see a lot of text from us. You're all too busy to read our life history. But we will be posting nice, crispy images (hopefully) now that we are properly equipped (thanks to Canon).

Andrea stomping the competition at her first triathlon in Daybreak, UT. (She was pregnant at the time.)

She even stomped me! (...the story of my life)

Biking the Alpine loop.

Visited Grandma Enid and met up with Mom and Paps.

Stephenson reunion in Texas. Of course I had to stand next to Captain Planet...

Home-made pizzas--with whole wheat crust, of course. We don't want to get fat and slow, right Walker? I remember hearing him say that when he caught me snacking on a few chips in the pantry. It stuck with me!

We paid a little visit to Brett, Aubrey, Jay...and Mickey.

Andrea finally starting to show at 6 months.

More pics to come--especially of little Hunter.
